For Ramadan, a French luxury maison asked Dune Studios to reimagine the majlis — the traditional space of welcome — inside its Dubai Mall flagship. The result is a temporary hospitality scenography: a sequence of circular lounge rooms in lilac and dune tones, wrapped around totem lanterns and low gathering tables.
A projected night sky turns the central dome into the room’s heart — a hand-drawn Pegasus drifting past a crescent moon — while tea rituals and oud performances bring the space to life through the holy month. The project was carried end to end: from CGI concept and spatial design to the installed, photographed environment.
